Rodeph Shalom Sanctuary Restoration (Philadelphia)
The Architect Team of Becker Winston Architects and Martin Jay Rosenblum, R.A. & Associates needed a unique solution to restore Rodeph Shalom Sanctuary so they turned to Superior Scaffold. Superior devised a system that allowed renovations to take place all the way around the sanctuary as well as four stories up in the dome. This saved time, money, and valuable access to very hard to reach places.
Superior's intricate design allowed them to renovate this historic landmark without compromising it's magnificent architectural integrity.
The renovation was so successful that the project team won the 2006 American Institute of Architects Pennsylvania Design Award Citation of Merit and the 2006 Preservation Alliance for Greater Philadelphia Grand Jury Preservation Award. |
