4601 Market Street (Phase 2 – Scaffolding) Access

We are back for phase two of the renovation process.  This time around we are providing restoration crews access to the top portion of the building, including the 7 foot long wind vane ship.  Yes, incredibly, that IS a giant wind vane. I wish I could have gotten a close up shot of that old ship but as you can see the scaffold crew was just erecting the base portion when I got there. Look at the corrosion that has built up over the years on the dome and the ship.  Those will be brought back to their former glory.  We’ve blogged...
