In honor of 40 years of SNL (Saturday Night Live) I thought I’d post some pics of our emergency services overhead protection job at Hallahan Catholic Girl’s School. Superior Scaffold was called in to provide overhead protection so crews could repair pieces of the façade that were falling off. If you look carefully, on this photo, you can see some of the damaged masonry work covered by blue plastic. Superior Scaffold was called out to provide a system scaffold and containment wrap (enclosure) so crews could demo the front of this store and remodel it – during the winter months. Containment wrap is great for keeping the heat in and the elements out when working in cold conditions. This particular location in West Windsor, NJ used to be a large Barnes and Noble store – and now it’s being converted into a new Bahama Breeze. The 26-year-old MarketFair shopping center is in the middle of design changes and a rebirth that promises new stores and lots of food. As part of the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia expansion project a very cool looking pedestrian bridge was built to allow easy access from the main hospital to the new Buerger Center for Advanced Pediatric Care. St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children – Dual purpose scaffold bridge and canopy

When St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia needed to construct a pedestrian bridge from their new building to their existing parking garage – they called Superior Scaffold. We erected a scaffold bridge that had to serve two purposes, one, to get crews beneath the new pedestrian bridge so they could finish construction – without stopping traffic below, and two, to get pedestrians safely across the street from the parking garage to the main hospital. This was the main entrance so it had to remain open at all times. We came in at night and diverted traffic while we erected the scaffolding....

This is actually a temporary kitchen built on top of a giant platform that we erected out back of the Passariello's restaurant.
