The $70 Million dollar renovation at 401 North Broad continues. This time we provided 1100 lineal feet of canopy (overhead protection) all the way around the building and suspended scaffold everywhere to assist in the façade restoration.  We were here on another job – you can read all about it on our blog.

The new owners pledged $70 million dollars to renovate the 11 story, 1.3 million square foot, block long pale brick building.

Crews needed access to the exterior for façade restoration and Superior provided them with the necessary equipment. The platforms are Altrex and the motors are a mix of PowerClimber PC1 and BisoMac 210. This combination gave the crews the necessary reach and exposure to every part of this enormous building.

However, on the front of the building frame scaffold was used. This particular view show a double-wide frame canopy using our heavy duty 767 or Philly frame.

Steel and aluminum beams along with corrugated steel roof and debris panels were used all away around the building allowing business as usual as the exterior renovation continued.
