Built back in 1892, the Divine Lorraine is going back to its original function - apartments. Back then it housed some of Philadelphia’s wealthiest residents and soon will again. Shoring & Scaffolding, Forever 21 Forever 21 is building out their new location on Chestnut street and decided to enlarge the entrance way and windows on the first few levels. They wanted theirs to look similar to Sephora with lots of light coming in the front of the store. Superior was first called out to provide the scaffolding for the facade restoration - but later provided the shoring when crews realized just how much work it would take to create the new openings. Brown Hall, Princeton University As part of their new green initiative, Princeton University is also upgrading Brown Hall, which was designed in 1890 and has served as an upper-class dormitory for many years. This renovation will create a new building portal (archway) in the south facade of the structure allowing a new point of access and egress from Brown’s interior courtyard. Superior was brought in to install & dismantle shoring posts and beams on all 4 floors, also the basement, bathrooms, and archway.
