Superior Scaffold – Can’t Touch This!
At first glance, this mixed bag of tricks seems as fresh as a pair of MC Hammer pants. It looks like they used as many different access disciplines as possible to protect and erect a structure. But further examination proves otherwise.
When they decided to erect an apartment complex where the old parking lot used to be they didn’t think they would have to work around one lone structure. And part of the deal was that they couldn’t touch that building at all.
So what do you do? You bust a move and call Superior Scaffold and we come up with a legit solution to get crews access to the facade with out touching the small building right next door.
How – you say? By needle beaming several 30′ long steel beams through the existing structure and then supporting them with hi-load shoring frames, anchored to the concrete, and spanning directly over the building so it can support the necessary scaffold and masonry materials to complete the job. Too hype – Can’t touch this!
And then we decided that the safest way to give crews access on the front of the building was to use a swing stage or suspended scaffold.
Crews completed the job without a hitch and the original structure remained untouched in the process. So you see, call a company that’s hyped and tight to get it done right.
So move out of your seat and wave your hands in the air. Call Superior Scaffold today if you have a hard to access project – (215) 743-2200 or visit www.superiorscaffold.com for more samples of our work. Ask for “Iron” Mike and give him a song or a rhythm and he’ll break it down!
And of course, what time is it? That’s right. It’s Hammer time!
