We’ve written about our work at the Kennedy House several times before, once for another canopy for some exterior repairs (you can read about it here) and the other time for our emergency services team protecting pedestrians (read about it here).

This time we are here about the swing stages and canopy for the masonry repair and painting going on the exterior of this building.  MPG (Masonry Preservation Group) has been doing a great job diligently bringing the facade of this structure back to its former glory.

We erected an overhead protection system that ran down JFK Blvd from 19th to 20th streets.  Roughly 580 feet long.  It’s constructed using system scaffold and has beautiful colored debris panels on top.

It was erected to protect the pedestrian traffic below as the restoration crews worked high above using several of our Altrex swing stages.

This allowed crews to get at the entire façade easily to affect their repairs and repaint portions of the exterior.
