Saint Mark's Church, at 1625 Locust St., is undergoing some renovations and called Superior for the scaffold support and access it needed. The church was founded in 1847 and actually built between 1848 and 1849 and as an historic building needed the utmost care when completing said renovations. Superior Scaffold has a long history of exemplary work on historic buildings and structures in the tri-state area so they were the logical choice. Superior Scaffold is proud to be working on the First Presbyterian Church in downtown Philadelphia. We are providing scaffolding support for a complete facade and masonry restoration on this church constructed after the civil war. Superior was called in because of our experience working with historic buildings, especially ones that might have delicate or sensitive objects. This particular church was no different - they have one of the most extensive stainded glass window collections on the east coast. See it here. In the heart of Philadelphia sits an incredible treasure - the Temple Performing Arts Center. Purchased in 1974 by Temple University the Baptist Temple was designated as historic and a landmark building. It underwent an extensive remodeling and has since hosted many great performing artists. Superior Scaffold was called in by Temple University to help with the renovation of the two copper domes on top of the center. America for Jesus, (One Nation Under God, Inc.) called Superior Scaffold to provide the scaffolding for their giant assembly at the Independence Mall, Philadelphia, PA Friday 9.28 (7pm – midnight) and Saturday 9.29 (9am – 5pm). Superior was called in to provide much of the scaffolding support including 10 giant towers spread out all acrros the giant mall. Here is another unique scaffolding job. It just goes to show you that when you think you’ve seen it all - think again. Here is a chapel inside of a hospital, and not just any hospital, mind you. This is in the heart of Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center, Camden, New Jersey. And what makes this even cooler is that the altar literally sits directly below the statue of the blessed Mother. When St. Mary’s Ukranian Church in Mcadoo, PA needed a scaffolding company to erect scaffold for painters to restore the exterior luster of their beloved church - they turned to Superior Scaffold. Our experience with historic buildings, churches and structures has made us the tri-state leader in the scaffolding industry. The contractor wanted a stair tower to access the scaffold and a nice sized storage deck. And to eliminate ascending the scaffolding from the ground each time, Superior constructed a special walkway across the roof.
