I’ll be the first to admit that among the scaffold disciplines, “shoring” isn’t necessarily the most aesthetically pleasing.  Most of the time it’s relegated to the dark dingy crawl spaces deep underground but every now and again we get to shed some light on this creature from the underworld.    This time, we have a mirrored image on the exterior so you can actually see what normally goes on in the inside!  Yes, this pillar of shoring, if you will, is replicated on the inside of the school - with the exception of the additional floor supports. This is a giant job with many phases.  Just scroll through the pictures and you'll see its size and scope.  I'll do my best to condense all of the parts into a cohesive post.  So here goes!  Superior Scaffold was brought in, by General Contractor – Domus, Inc., to provide the scaffolding and shoring support to give crews complete access to the exterior of this 10-story structure for a massive renovation.
