I’ll be the first to admit that among the scaffold disciplines, “shoring” isn’t necessarily the most aesthetically pleasing. Most of the time it’s relegated to the dark dingy crawl spaces deep underground but every now and again we get to shed some light on this creature from the underworld. Superior Scaffold is proud to be working on the First Presbyterian Church in downtown Philadelphia. We are providing scaffolding support for a complete facade and masonry restoration on this church constructed after the civil war. Superior was called in because of our experience working with historic buildings, especially ones that might have delicate or sensitive objects. This particular church was no different - they have one of the most extensive stainded glass window collections on the east coast. See it here. Superior Scaffold salesman, Anthony Pini rocked the house on this job at the University of Pennsylvania’s ARCH Building (Arts, Research and Culture House) in Philadelphia, PA. Not only did he meet the client’s needs on every phase, but he went so far as to bring the crews coffee and donuts on several occasions. He’s is certainly the king of customer service for Superior Scaffold. This is a very deceptive job from the outside because it’s shrouded from trees, signs, and netting.
