It’s not fancy but this 15’ high, frame scaffold, rolling tower with a stair tower access instead of the usual hook on ladder had to be erected with the utmost care. Our scaffold was erected to help get Chinese researchers and their equipment up to the top of this 500-year-old, hand carved ceiling that was originally installed over a Buddhist altar from the Ming dynasty. First Presbyterian Church in Philadelphia, built in 1872 (at 21st & Walnut), needed a complete exterior renovation and the good people at Mara were just the ones to git ‘er done. Superior Scaffold provided our TP-2500 transport platform to crews at the historic Rodney Court apartment building (now Birchwood at Rodney Court) for a complete interior restoration. This is a pretty cool job for lots of reasons. We had to use system scaffold to reach each level of this six-story building and then deck it in as a sort of landing platform for crews to get their materials in through windows on each floor.
