Transport Platform at University of Delaware Stadium – “Super Responder”
I heard the term “Super Responder” today. It was in the context of being an Empath. They say that some empathic people have nervous systems that react more quickly and strongly to certain stimuli than others.
I personally absorb other people’s emotions whether they are good, bad, anxious or stressed. There are times when I literally have to excuse myself and let them run off of me and get re-centered again. Growing up, my friends and family called me shy, overly sensitive, antisocial and even eccentric, when in truth, I just felt things more heavily than my cohorts.
Psychologists use the term Emapth to describe a person who often will take on the pain of others at their own expense. Now, I’m not saying that all of our estimators are Empaths but they do have the keen awareness, intuition and wisdom to feel what their clients need and respond in a complimentary way.
Using the term in its literal sense, our complete business model is built upon the principle of being a “Super Responder”. We are family owned and operated and can respond faster than most of our competitors – AND – our guys actually FEEL and CARE about the projects they work on. Maybe they are empathic? Hard to say, but I can tell you that when a client is hurting or feeling stressed our guys feel it too and try to alleviate that burden.
Psychologists can call them Empaths, we call them good people who care. And one of our best “Super Responders” is Tony P (pictured in the Transport Platform). Clients, like the University of Delaware and EDIS, will tell you that when they need something immediately, they call Tony P. He responds faster than anyone in the business and he’s one of the rare few who actually answer on weekends.
What does this have to do with our TP-2500 Transport Platform we installed at the University of Delaware Stadium for the Fightin’ Blue Hens? Nothing and everything. When EDIS called Tony P and said that the University of Delaware needed a way to get special needs or wheelchair bound fans into the stadium while it was under construction – he knew exactly what to do.
“Our TP-2500 is perfect. It’s designed for the safe transportation of material and authorized personnel both inside and outside of buildings. We can tuck it in the corner and it will give people easy access,” said Tony P. “It’s protected from the elements and we can build a custom ramp to it.” The Transport platform will act as a temporary elevator for the entire 2019 season while the new construction is being completed.
It’s worked wonderfully. Whether you are born a “Super Responder” or learn how to read people and anticipate their needs – we are thankful that we have a group of them on our team ready to help you.
If you need scaffold, scaffolding, access, transport platforms or the need to talk to the honorary mayor of Wilmington – Call Tony P today at (215) 743-2200 and I guarantee he will respond faster than anyone in the business.
