Superior Scaffold designed two scaffold trolley systems to help D.M. Sabia place giant stones on the side of the facade for the CHOP Buerger Center for Advanced Pediatric Care. For this particular location, on Health Science Dr., it helped in the speedy, yet safe, movement of large stones up and over the garages in the back - from one end of the building to the other. As part of the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia expansion project a very cool looking pedestrian bridge was built to allow easy access from the main hospital to the new Buerger Center for Advanced Pediatric Care. Crews needed to get to the exterior of the bridge at the corner of Civic Center Blvd and E. Service Drive in downtown Philly. You have to admit that this is one great looking building. Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, the oldest and top ranked children’s hospital in the United States, called Superior Scaffold to first come out and scaffold in a stairwell for removal of lights and mechanicals in a research center building on their new campus.
