Smith Memorial Playhouse The building was designed solely as a play space for children by one of Philadelphia’s most prominent late 19th century architects, James H. Windrim. The open layout of the 24,000 square foot three story brick and masonry structure features floor to ceiling windows, porches and room upon room with a variety of play opportunities for children. Superior engineers designed a system scaffold that would allow the $7 million renovations to take place while the building and grounds remained open for business. It also will have a fossil preparation lab. Capital Health Hospital, Hopewell, NJ Capital Health’s $777-million replacement hospital in Hopewell Township, N.J., features the latest technology and patient-centered services. The 237-bed, six-story, 932,000-sq-ft hospital will feature, offices, medical-surgical units, labor and delivery suites, a nursery and intensive care units, all connecting through a four-story, glass-clad atrium. Henry Hall, Princeton University Superior was called in to erect and dismantle a system scaffold for work on a parapet wall. The challenge was to build scaffolding on roofs and provide roof protection on the 200 year old building. Superior also had to deck one solid level around all the parapet walls.
