At first glance, this mixed bag of tricks seems as fresh as a pair of MC Hammer pants. It looks like they used as many different access disciplines as possible to protect and erect a structure. But further examination proves otherwise. When they decided to erect an apartment complex where the old parking lot used to be they didn't think they would have to work around one lone structure. It’s WINTER this summer at the Philadelphia Zoo!

Just when you think it’s too hot to go outside head over to Philadelphia Zoo for some frozen fun and experience a magical snow destination--WINTER. Tube down Snow Leopard Slope, a 120-foot-long, 20-foot-high, snow-covered incline built by Superior Scaffold. Make snow angels or toss a snowball or two in Snow Zone, a free-play area for all ages. Or head into Polar Bear Pavilion designed specifically for little snow tots Inside, kids can sled down a smaller version of the large ramp, make snow castles and play in the snow. Which ever area you choose to visit it’s all about having fun in the heat this summer and learning about the connection...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UGyQT5xBYLs Here is a video tour of the scaffolding and the Mother Mary statue on top of Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center in Camden, NJ. It clearly shows the damage that the earthquake did to her as well as the necessary guy-wires to hold her down in case of aftershocks. Superior Scaffold had to transport all of the scaffolding materials through a maze in the hospital and even assemble most of the sections on a lower roof and then hoist them up where they could be put into place. You can see the difficulties in just getting to the statue...
