Superior Scaffold has assisted with this type of surgical maneuver in and around elevator shafts many times. This time, it just so happens to be at the Bryn Mawr Hospital where iron workers need to install and weld new structural steel as part of the new addition to the hospital. Some of these pics show what's going on in the 4th floor elevator shafts where crews cut holes into the shaft walls to install aluminum joists that would span the opening. Then they had to deck in over the joists to make safe platforms so crews could complete their work. ...

The Renovation of Strawbridge & Clothier Building, Philadelphia, PA

Superior Scaffold was called in to assist with the renovations of the historic Strawbridge & Clothier building in downtown Philadelphia. The 100 year-old building was once the worlds largest dry goods building. Over the years it has sat in disrepair until they decided to bring it back to it’s former glory. They new center will be home for 100 businesses as 1000 residential units. They are doing a superb job of keeping the old style while giving the new structure nice upgrades. Repaired Statue Returns to Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center

It was a slightly different Saturday night in January at the Academy of Music's 155th Anniversary party. But this year the honored guests didn't leave to enjoy the entertainment - they stayed for the entire event.
