Now, this is the second way to scaffold a swimming pool so crews can get to the inside ceiling area for work, renovation or additions. Yes, it was scaffold convention and exposition time again and this year it was held in Indianapolis, Indiana, home of the Indy 500 and Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Superior Scaffold is proud to have an article in the new Construction Today Magazine about our work with Vibration Mitigation at the Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology.In a nutshell, the article details how Superior Scaffold was called in to provide access to help dismantle two giant, 16 foot tall, 14th/15th century Chinese Buddhist murals in preparation for the demolition of the building right next door. This is a giant job at The Philadelphian, a luxury condominium building located (2401 Pennsylvania Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19130) just off the Benjamin Franklin Parkway directly across from the Philadelphia Museum of Art.Superior Scaffold provided restoration crews, from Joseph Dugan, with swing stages (suspended scaffold) necessary to get them all over the exterior of the building. This office building between Rittenhouse Square and the new Comcast tower at 18th and Market is getting some window work done.Superior Scaffold provided the overhead protection system that runs down 18th and Market Street side of the building. It’s a beautiful creation of system scaffold, steel and aluminum beams, topped with debris panels. When the good folks at Princeton University decided to add a new elevator to Dodge Hall, and had to remove an entire interior support wall to install it, they called Superior Scaffold to shore up the entire inside of the building. Dodge is one part of Murray-Dodge Hall and was constructed in 1900. The two buildings are joined by a cloister. Not a term you hear much anymore - cloister.
