Crews were renovating the Alison Building, in Rittenhouse Square, and discovered a piece of the parapet was falling off. The building was built in 1924 and is being revamped for 19 super high-end luxury apartments. Superior Scaffold got the call Friday afternoon and had a crew on the scene within hours. The decision was made to install a 40’ long, double-wide canopy (sidewalk overhead protection system) the next day. Superior brings the Swings and Overhead Protection to 401 N. Broad St., Philadelphia, PA.The $70 Million dollar renovation at 401 North Broad continues. Superior Scaffold's emergency service team was called late Thursday afternoon.We had a crew on the job within 2 hours and a complete overhead protection system in place within 24 hours!Clemens Construction was demoing the building next door and when L&I (Licenses and Inspections) went out to examine they spotted a damaged parapet on the building next door.The canopy went up immediately to protect pedestrians and traffic below.
