Twas the night before Thanksgiving
And all through the house
Not a creature was stirring –
Not even a mouse.
Everyone had eaten
And had retired to the couch
Except for a one Anthony Pini
Because he was no slouch
While others watch sports
And played games with their spouse
Mister Pini was eating
And cleaning house
When his work phone rang
It gave him a slight pang
Because he knew an emergency
Would end his Thanksgiving, with a Bang.
Not hesitating, he answered the phone
Just like on any other night
And as he sped down I-95
Not a person was in sight
With a chill in the air
And a turkey leg in his hand
Anthony pini made a gesture
So grand
When clients ring
He answers the call
And not everyone would do that
In fact, not anyone else at all.
Like the postman
Come rain, sleet, hail or snow
Pini’s clients are special
And that, they have come to know
He gave up his thanksgiving
To help someone in need
It turned into a thankful day
And a good deed!
The building’s roof had collapsed because of a faulty sprinkler system and water was everywhere. The folks at SERVPRO knew that if anyone could help, even on a holiday, it was Anthony Pini and Superior Scaffold.
