Superior Scaffold was proud to take part in the renovation of the 50 foot long front desk at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City. It was a great opportunity to provide a unique scaffolding platform for a renowned California artist to complete his work. What a great looking building this is, smack dab in the middle of downtown. This is the Philadelphia Academy of Fine Arts. It’s a historic Victorian museum and Art school (offering 19th & 20th century American works). I would have loved to enter that place everyday to learn. Yes, we are already on phase 3 of the renovations at the Firestone Library on the Princeton University campus. Crews are replacing the entire parapet around the top of this floor of the library.Each time we do a phase it presents a new set of challenges. This was a unique scaffolding job, in that, we literally had to design and build it from the top down. Now, we all know that the biblical version of Jacob’s Ladder is the bridge between earth and heaven as dreamt by Jacob and described in the Book of Genesis. The significance of that ladder was obviously greater than our version of Jacobs Ladder.
